Oppo will launch the Reno 2-series in India today. This is the global debut of the Oppo Reno 2 lineup that is expected to include three smartphones – the Oppo Reno 2, Reno 2Z and Reno 2F. These three smartphones are expected to slot in the affordable to premium mid-range segments in India. The company has already confirmed some key specifications about the Reno 2 such as its quad camera setup, shark-fin rising camera, Snapdragon 730G processor and VOOC 3.0 fast charging, among other things.
Meanwhile, the Reno 2Z and Reno 2F have been rumoured about in recent days, suggesting that the phones will slot below the Reno 2 but will bring a lot of the same design elements. The Reno 2F and Reno 2Z are also tipped to come with quad cameras, AMOLED displays and VOOC 3.0 fast charging.
There has been no leak or rumour regarding the pricing of the Oppo Reno 2 series, but based on the specifications expected, we assume that the Reno 2 will cost somewhere between Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000, much like its predecessor. The Reno 2Z and Reno 2F are expected to be more affordable versions of the Reno 2, so you can expect a price tag well under Rs 30,000 for these two.
